La production de la Korona View a débuté avant la première guerre. Elle subira de nombreuses évolutions, jusqu'à la version présentée sur cette page, qui fait partie des dernières produites. Cette chambre a existé en plusieurs formats: 4 x 5", 5 x 7", 6,5 x 8,5", 8 x 10", 7 x 11" et 11 x 14".
Elle se caractérise par un soufflet à très longue extension.
Le nom de de Korona provient de celui de la firme "Milburn Korona Company", achetée par Gundlach en 1896.
